Hibbert, Richard, Evelyn Hibbert, and Tim Silberman. "The journey towards long-term missionary service: How Australian missionaries are being called and choose mission agencies." Missiology: An International Review 43.4 (2015): 469-82. Web.
This article focuses on missionaries that have decided to take the leap from going on short term mission trips, to long term mission trips. This article was extremely helpful, because it revealed many thoughts that are similar to mine. Many people think long term mission trips are great, but there are obvious concerns present. This gives thoughts of people that are starting to throw out their concerns and just do it.

"Posts about Haiti on Come and Listen." Come and Listen. N.p., n.d. Web. 16 July 2017.
This is a blog from a woman named Marla Duvall. It encompasses her current summer being an intern in Haiti for Mission of Hope, as well as has archives of her summer last year. It has many personal stories of her experiences in Haiti, and gives a good insight of little things encountered on a long term mission trip.
"Immeasurably more." Immeasurably more. N.p., n.d. Web. 16 July 2017.
This is also a blog, from another intern from Mission of Hope. Her name is Mary Patterson, and she too has spent two summers in Haiti. Her experiences, however, are different from the other blog because she was with different teams and went to different villages.
Uttich, Jake R. "Long Term Missions." Telephone interview. 11 July 2017.
I asked a close friend of mine, Jake Uttich, twelve questions about long term mission work. Jake has always been a huge inspiration of mine, considering his actions and opportunities he has faced while doing mission work. At 20 years old, he has spent upwards of 7 weeks in Haiti. We talked about the purpose of mission work and the training required. It was very helpful for research about "behind the scenes" work that goes on for long term mission trips.
Garrett, Jacob A. "Long Term Missions." Telephone interview. 11 July 2017.
Jacob Garrett is my former youth director, and now works as my church's Mission Coordinator. I interviewed him with the same questions I used for Jake Uttich. Jacob gave me a lot of wonderful information about white savior complex. He also gave a plethora of information on how to prevent or stop the epidemic that is white savior complex.
